The room
Priestley Hall (sometimes spelled 'Priestly' on older documents — current Berkeley Housing uses 'Priestley') is one of four 1964 Warnecke high-rises in Unit 3. Day to day
Priestley has community-style bathrooms shared by floor. Unit 3's 1964 towers have received Daily Cal attention for more wear in shared spaces than other Berkeley residential units — shower sandals and a sturdy hanging caddy are worth including on your list. Café 3 is the nearest dining hall.
Move-in day
Priestley is on Channing Way in the Southside, alongside Norton, Ida Sproul, and Spens-Black. Move-in is mid-August. As a high-rise, elevator access during move-in weekend can be slow — fewer, well-organized loads will save time.
