We keep privacy simple. We collect only what we need to make DormMoveIn work, and we never sell or share your information.
What we collect
Waitlist signups
Your email address and optional first name, entered via the “Notify me” form on school pages. We use this only to email you when that school goes live on DormMoveIn.
Your dorm list
Your email address, entered when you save your list. We use this only to send you a secure magic link so you can access your list from any device.
Family reminders
Your email address, entered on a shared list page. We use this only to send you a reminder if items on the list are still unclaimed closer to move-in day.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to see which pages are visited. It collects no personal data and sets no cookies.
Affiliate links
Some product links are Amazon affiliate links. Clicking them takes you to Amazon. We receive a small commission if you buy something, but Amazon does not share your personal information with us.
What we don't do
We never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.
Removing your data
Reply to any email we send you and ask to be removed, or email support@dormmovein.com.
