The room
Beverly Cleary is a mid-rise completed in 1992, making it noticeably newer than the four 1964 high-rises across the street. Rooms come as doubles, triples, or limited singles. Beds are XL twin (80"×36"), so bring XL twin bedding — standard XL sheets will fit loosely. The MicroChill unit provides both a mini-fridge and microwave, so you don't need to bring either.
Day to day
Community bathrooms are shared by floor. Café 3 is the closest dining hall and a short walk from Beverly Cleary. Beverly Cleary houses the Casa Magdalena Mora Theme Program, a cross-cultural community students apply to join — if your student was placed here without applying, they'll still be living alongside that program's residents.
Move-in day
Beverly Cleary sits across Channing Way from the rest of Unit 3 — note that when you're unloading, you're on the opposite side of the street from Ida Sproul, Norton, Priestley, and Spens-Black.
