Manchester and Fletcher are staffed alongside Allyn and Clark by a Residence Hall Director, an Assistant Residence Hall Director and fourteen Resident Assistants, and Manchester runs its own Hall Council. The building's Education and Human Services Theme Community groups interested first-years with extra programming tied to that field. Required preventive maintenance runs in every room twice yearly.

Move-in day

Manchester's first-year and transfer move-in is Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20, 2026, on Kent State's published per-floor schedule: Day 1 (Aug. 19) Floor 4 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Floor 2 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.; Day 2 (Aug. 20) Floor 3 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Floor 1 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m., with even rooms arriving at the start of their block and odd rooms halfway through. Students arriving August 19-20 check in at the residence hall. The August 21-22, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. window is for returning students, who may check in at their residence hall or at their area desk.
