⚠ WCU's own move-in page gives only a general Fall 2026 window (Aug 7-16) for centralized move-in at a single trailer location — no first-year-specific single date is published; students get a specific day/window only after housing assignments go out in July.
⚠ Only Albright/Benton, among the four 2026-27 first-year halls, lacks both air conditioning and an elevator — it opened in 1962; the other three (Black Rock, Shining Rock, Water Rock) all opened in 2022 and are air conditioned.
⚠ Extension cords are banned outright campus-wide; only a UL-listed surge protector with an on/off switch is permitted (WCU issues one per resident).
