North Carolina A&T Freshman Dorms 2026
North Carolina A&T is a public HBCU in Greensboro and the largest historically Black university in the country by enrollment. Its two official brand colors are Aggie Blue (#004684, PANTONE 288) and Aggie Gold (#FDB927, PANTONE 123) per the University Relations brand guide — a separate, older "web style guide" page uses a different navy/gold pairing, but the brand guide is the authoritative institutional source. A&T does not publish a mandatory on-campus residency requirement the way some peer schools do; first-year housing is strongly encouraged rather than contractually required. Seven residence halls are explicitly designated for freshmen — Barbee, Cooper, Curtis, Haley, Holland, Morrow, and Vanstory — all with fixed steel-frame Twin XL beds; lofted and canopy beds are prohibited campus-wide. A brand-new 405-bed hall, Bluford Residence Hall, opened in July 2026 (A&T's first new residence hall in nearly 20 years), but the university hasn't published a dedicated hall page for it or confirmed it houses first-year students, so it isn't included below. Move-in for new students for the 2026-27 year is Saturday, August 15, 2026.
