The room

Wiley's standard room is a double: a bed or lofted bed with standard mattress per occupant, a desk with desktop organizer and chair per occupant, a dresser per occupant, closets, a desk light for each desk, towel bars, curtains, and a waste basket. The mattress is 77" long x 36" wide x 7" thick, with a limited stock of 89" x 36" x 7" long mattresses held first-come for residents 6'4" or taller. Day to day

Each floor has a mop sink room for spot cleaning. Wiley's shared spaces include a recreational lounge with game tables, a central laundry room, a kitchenette, a computer and print station, and central lounges that -- unlike the bedrooms -- are air-conditioned. The hall also houses a University Residences Support Center with private study rooms, conference spaces, and a computer lab. Wiley has its own identity through the Excalibur Club, which operates Wiley Radio, a student-run station. Move-in day

Most new Wiley residents arrive during Boiler Gold Rush, August 15 (from 1 p.m.) through August 18, 2026, each with an assigned 30-minute timeslot; Boiler Gold Rush International students move in a day earlier, on August 14. New students outside orientation programming move in beginning August 21. Because the bedrooms have no AC, plan the drive for a cooler part of the day and bring a box fan in the first load rather than the last.
