- What size bed is in UNH dorm rooms?
- Every room has a Twin XL mattress (36"W x 80"L), and UNH lists clearance under the bed without risers as 11 to 14 inches. Most halls allow the frame to be bunked or lofted -- Christensen and Williamson are the two exceptions.
- Are UNH dorms air-conditioned?
- It varies by hall. Adams Tower West, Congreve, Fairchild, Haaland, Handler, Mills, Peterson, and McLaughlin list air conditioning among their amenities, but many traditional first-year halls like Christensen, Williamson, and Lord do not, and window AC units are prohibited everywhere on campus.
- Can I bring a mini fridge and microwave?
- Yes -- UNH's furniture page states refrigerators larger than 4.5 cubic feet are not allowed and microwaves up to 800 watts of power output are acceptable, or students can rent a combo microfridge unit through Housing.
