UMass Lowell Freshman Dorms 2026
Unlike UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell does not guarantee first-year students a housing spot — the university states that completing the housing application "does not guarantee a space on campus," with assignments limited by that year's capacity. No hall on UML's own site is labeled "first-year" the way Amherst's RFYE halls are; the four traditional-tier halls covered here (Bourgeois, Fox, Leitch, Concordia) are simply the cheapest, most double/quad-heavy options on campus, and any first-year skew is an inference, not an official designation.
