Salisbury University Freshman Dorms 2026
Salisbury requires first-year and second-year students to live on campus — four semesters starting fall, three starting spring — with exemptions for local-county families (Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester MD or Sussex DE), students 21+, married students or those with dependents, and veterans. Freshmen are placed in one of four suite-style halls (Nanticoke, St. Martin, Manokin, Wicomico), each with lofted twin-XL beds and no published under-bed clearance. Heat and air conditioning run on a seasonal schedule only — first six weeks of fall and last two weeks of spring, and only when it hits 83°F outside — so a personal fan is worth packing regardless of the calendar. Fall 2026 move-in is Thursday, August 27.

- How am I notified about housing?
- Once you accept your offer of admission and pay the $300 non-refundable admissions deposit in your Future Sea Gull Portal, you will need to complete the Housing Contract. Housing is assigned based on the date you submit the Housing Contract. Housing assignments are sent via your Salisbury University email account in July.
