Move-in day

Acadian first-years move in on LSU's standard Fall 2026 schedule — early arrival Friday, August 14 for a $200 charge on the fee bill (slots at 2, 3:30, 5 and 6:30 p.m.), then general move-in Saturday, August 15 with slots from 8 a.m. through 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 16 with slots from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Arrival times are self-selected in the housing portal July 1-24, 2026, with halls opening for selection at staggered times on July 1-2; roommates who want to arrive together must choose the same slot.
