Kennesaw State Freshman Dorms 2026

Kennesaw State University's live-on requirement is unusual: it applies only to first-year students whose major is based on the Marietta Campus, KSU's secondary campus — first-year students in Kennesaw-campus majors, the much larger population, are not required to live on campus at all. Most incoming Kennesaw-campus students still land in one of three first-year halls: The Summit (suite-style, opened 2022), University Village (apartment-style, opened 2004, with bunked Twin XL-over-Twin XL doubles), or University Village Suites (suite-style, opened 2008). Fall 2026 move-in runs August 19-21 on the Kennesaw campus and August 20-21 on the Marietta campus.
