Every Georgia Techfreshman hall includes the same base furnishings. Skip anything already in your room, pack what’s missing, and leave the banned items at home.

⚠ On-campus housing is not required or guaranteed for any student at Georgia Tech, including first-years — Housing's own wording is that it is 'not required and not guaranteed.'

⚠ Personal loft kits are banned and residents may not construct lofts — every bed already has a built-in E-Z Loft frame that only Housing staff may reconfigure.

⚠ Bed rails are required on any bed set higher than 36 inches, per a Board of Regents requirement.

⚠ Air fryers, pressure cookers, and Instant Pots are prohibited, as is any appliance with an open or exposed heating element.
