Coastal Carolina University Freshman Dorms 2026
Coastal Carolina University requires all degree-seeking, full-time first- and second-year students who graduated high school within the prior two calendar years to live in university housing and buy a meal plan, with exemptions for marriage, dependent children, veteran/active-military status, living locally with a parent or guardian within 50 miles, or documented disability. Fall 2026 Move-In runs a five-day appointment window, August 12 through 16, scheduled through MyCoastalHome. Beds throughout housing are extra-long twin on height-adjustable frames -- the three Elvington Loop halls raise to 33.5in of clearance at their highest setting, while Oak Hall in The Woods tops out at 31in.
