West Chester University Freshman Dorms 2026

West Chester University doesn't mandate freshman residency, but the pull is strong anyway — 90% of first-year students choose to live on campus, clustered in four traditional North Campus halls with window-unit air conditioning and community bathrooms. First-year, first-semester students are barred from the South Campus Apartments regardless; that community is reserved for upperclassmen, transfers, and grad students. Fall 2026 move-in runs Thursday and Friday, August 20-21, by assigned hall/floor timeslot.
