Ole Miss requires all incoming first-year students with fewer than 30 post-high-school credit hours to live in university housing for two consecutive semesters, with narrow exemptions (20+, within 60 miles with family, prior college housing, married, or has children). General move-in runs Aug 15-17, 2026; Honors students move in Aug 15; Pittman Hall residents specifically move in Aug 13 due to nearby construction. A pre-assigned appointment is required — there are no exceptions for late arrivals without one.
