Florida International University Freshman Dorms 2026
FIU does not require first-year students to live on campus, and on-campus housing is not guaranteed to anyone — room assignments run on need and availability. Students who do live on campus choose from four freshman halls at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus: Panther Hall, Everglades Hall, Lakeview Hall, and Parkview Hall (Honors College). Rooms use Twin XL beds (Full-size at Parkview), with utilities and Wi-Fi included. Fall 2026 move-in runs Unassisted Aug 17-18 and Assisted Aug 20-22, with classes beginning Aug 24.
