Read before you pack
- Freshmen who are single, under 21, and not living with parents near Fort Collins are required to live on campus for their first two consecutive terms; getting out of it means filing CSU's Request for Exemption from University Living Regulation.
- Most CSU residence halls are not air-conditioned -- the rates table marks only Academic Village, Laurel Village, and Summit -- and window AC units and swamp coolers are explicitly banned, so a fan is the sanctioned workaround.
- Space heaters, cooking appliances (toasters, air fryers, crock pots, rice cookers), candles/incense, and Command Strips are all banned across every hall.
