Mobile, AL · 4 Freshman Halls
University of South Alabama Freshman Dorms 2026
South Alabama requires first-year students to live on campus (exemptions exist -- 21+, part-time, HS grad 1+ year prior, dependent children, living within 80mi with a relative, married, or a veteran). All 4 freshman buildings -- Azalea, Camellia, Epsilon, and Delta 6 -- have Twin XL beds that raise up to 30in high. Delta 6 is the outlier: it's the only freshman hall with an in-room kitchenette, so it's the only one where air fryers and extra fridges are allowed -- the other three ban them. Move-in is Friday-Saturday, August 14-15, 2026.
