- Self-constructed lofts are banned. Institutional lofting requests take at least 1 week to process and are not available in every hall.
- Siebert Hall has no air conditioning. Columbus August temperatures regularly exceed 85°F with high humidity. Budget for a strong tower fan.

No air conditioning
Siebert Hall has no AC. Move-in is late August and it gets hot and humid in Columbus, OH — a fan is the first thing to pack, not the last.
Beds loft for extra storage
Siebert Hall's frames raise or loft, so under-bed space is yours to create. Bed risers or a loft setup turn the area under the bed into room for bins, a mini-couch, or a desk.
