Read before you pack

Texas A&M's standard dorm mattress is 36"×77" — shorter than a Twin XL (80") and narrower than the 38" standard. Standard Twin sheets run short and Twin XL run slightly long; request a 36"×80" Twin XL mattress from Residence Life if you want XL bedding to fit cleanly. The four Commons-style halls (Mosher, Aston, Dunn, Krueger) use a longer 36"×79" mattress instead — check your specific hall.
